Whether we are unemployed, homeless, incarcerated, President of the United States or a CEO, at the moment of our personal death we stand completely naked in every sense in the presence of our Merciful Lord and Creator, Jesus. No, we can’t even bring our clothes with us on this journey. Every moment of our life will be present, completely denuded in the truth. Let us love God and one another with a real sacrificial love, and agape love. This is the only briefcase we can carry to this meeting.
“Naked I came forth from my mother’s womb,
and naked shall I go back there.
The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away;
blessed be the name of the LORD!” (Job 1:21, NABRE)
